Capabilities & Materials

5. What molding, machining, and finishing capabilities does Evantic offer?

Molding
Evantic offers a range of advanced plastic molding processes, including cold compression molding and free sintering, high temperature compression molding (HTCM), isostatic molding, near net shape molding, and thermoforming (vacuum and pressure). Our engineers evaluate each application to select the most effective process for producing high-performance components and semi-finished shapes.

Machining
The Evantic family of companies has provided precision plastic CNC milling and turning services for more than 50 years. Our skilled engineers and machinists produce close-tolerance components using advanced equipment such as CNC milling, CNC turning, and CNC 5-axis machining. You can learn more about our full machining capabilities on our dedicated CNC Machining page.

Finishing
Evantic also performs in-house specialty finishing processes to achieve the required surface finish and material performance. These include sintering, skiving, porolation, annealing, encapsulation, and etching, ensuring components meet precise specifications for both function and appearance.

Value-added services
We offer a full suite of value-added services to ensure your plastic components are finished, assembled, and ready for seamless integration into your products. These services include assembly, bar coding, custom packaging, engraving, heat and vacuum sealing, kitting, labeling, laser marking, and polishing.

6. What materials can Evantic work with?

We manufacture and work with a wide variety of high-performance fluoropolymers and engineered plastics. Our PTFE, PEEK, PPS, and PI offering alone features more than 100 proprietary grades. Beyond industry-standard materials, we create proprietary formulations using high-grade additives, modifiers, and reinforcements to enhance polymer properties.

We also produce small-batch compounds, allowing rapid testing, prototyping, and application-specific customization. Our in-house lab provides comprehensive testing and analysis to ensure your materials and components meet the exact specifications and performance requirements for your application.

7. What tolerances can you achieve for precision components?

Evantic can achieve dimensional tolerances down to ±0.001″ for critical machined components, depending on the material, geometry, and manufacturing process. Our experienced engineers and machinists work closely with customers to determine the most appropriate tolerance for each application.

Maximum part dimensions
For formed or molded components, Evantic can produce parts up to 48″ wide and 72″ long, with thicknesses typically ranging from 0.375″ to 1″, depending on the material and forming method.

8. Do you offer cleanroom manufacturing?

Yes. Evantic provides cleanroom manufacturing for critical electrical, electronics, semiconductor, medical, life sciences, and pharmaceutical applications.

Our Class 5, 7, and 8 cleanrooms provide tightly controlled manufacturing environments that support precision production and stringent cleanliness standards.
